This hiking route takes you through the stunning area of Karlsruher Grat, offering beautiful views and various points of interest along the way. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 4.197 kilometers and an elevation gain of 242 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
As you start your journey, you will come across the Blöchereck Wanderparkplatz where you can park your vehicle. From there, you will pass by the memorial 110er-Denkmal before reaching the information point of Gottschlägtal at 0.89 kilometers from the start. As you continue, you will encounter various boundary stones marking the historic significance of the area.
One of the highlights of the hike is the Herrenschrofen viewpoint at 1.49 kilometers from the start, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Further along the trail, you will find the Eichhaldenfirst viewpoint at 2.1 kilometers, providing another opportunity to take in the breathtaking scenery.
For a rest, you can enjoy the benches located along the trail, such as at 0.06 kilometers from the start or 0.55 kilometers in. These benches offer a perfect spot to relax and soak in the natural beauty of the area.
