This hiking route takes you to the beautiful surroundings of Darmstädter Hütte. The trail is a circular route with a total distance of approximately 5 kilometers and an elevation gain of 103 meters, making it a moderate-level hike.
As you start your hike, you'll come across several points of interest along the way. Around 0.78 kilometers from the start, you'll find a memorial for the Orkan Lothar storm that occurred on December 26, 1999. Further along the trail, at approximately 1.84 kilometers from the start, you'll discover a historic boundary stone.
