Hiking : Lago Terrasole

This challenging out-and-back hiking route will take you through the beautiful area surrounding Lago Terrasole. With a total distance of 9.9 kilometers and an elevation gain of 645 meters, this hike is not for the faint of heart.

As you start your journey, you will come across a convenient parking area at the trailhead. Be sure to bring plenty of water, as there are drinking water stations located at the beginning of the trail and at various points along the way.

About 3.32 kilometers into the hike, you will find a drinking water station, followed by a restaurant called Baita 2000 at 3.41 kilometers from the start. This is a great spot to take a break and refuel before continuing on.

Further along the trail, at 3.92 kilometers from the start, you will reach Capanna Niculin, another restaurant where you can rest and enjoy a meal with a view. Additionally, at 4.95 kilometers from the start, you will arrive at the picturesque Lago Terrasole, a perfect spot to relax and take in the scenery before heading back.

For nature enthusiasts, there is also the option to explore Galleria di Napoleone, a cave entrance located along the trail, with no entrance fee required.
