This challenging hiking route will take you through the stunning Costa Combassa area.

As you start your journey, you will find a convenient parking area just 4.37 meters away from the trailhead. Be sure to have your water bottles filled, as the first drinking water station is located 1.22 kilometers into the hike.

At about 1.24 kilometers from the start, you will reach the information point named Colletto Burdei, where you can learn more about the area and its history. Continuing on, at 0.74 kilometers from the start, another drinking water station will provide a refreshing break.

As you progress on the trail, you will encounter three peaks along the way. The first one, Rocca Baussalina, is located 1.8 kilometers from the start, slightly off the trail. Further on, you will reach Rocca Luchin at 2.64 kilometers from the start, directly on the trail. The final peak, Costa Combassa, after which the route is named, sits at 3.4 kilometers from the start and provides spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

With a total distance of 6.799 kilometers and an elevation gain of 565 meters, this hike is considered difficult and is recommended for experienced hikers. Be sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and wear appropriate hiking gear. Checking the weather forecast before setting out is also advisable.
