Welcome to the Forêt domaniale de Melo hiking route! This route is 10.5 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 1037 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take around 5 hours to complete. Before starting the hike, make sure to bring plenty of water, wear appropriate footwear, and check the weather forecast.

As you begin your journey, you will come across a parking area located right at the start of the trail. This is a convenient spot to leave your vehicle before embarking on the hike. About 4.45 kilometers into the trail, you will reach the Bergerie de Pasturicciola, a wilderness hut where you can take a break and enjoy the scenic surroundings.

Continuing on, at the 5.25 kilometer mark, you will find a beautiful viewpoint where you can take in stunning vistas of the area. As you hike further, you will reach the Col d'Ominanda, a saddle located just 0.01 kilometers from the trail. This is a great spot to rest and appreciate the natural beauty of the surroundings.

Further along the trail, at around 4.67 kilometers from the start, you will encounter an information point that provides insights into the area's history and geography. As you approach the 5.03 kilometer mark, you will find another information point to learn more about the area.

About 4.56 kilometers from the start, you will come across the Source de Pasturicciola, a natural spring where you can refill your water bottle and rest before heading back on the trail.
