This challenging out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning Pico de la Teja in the beautiful area of Peñas Blancas. The trail spans approximately 10.3 kilometers in total, with an elevation gain of 525 meters.
Starting at the parking area, you will begin your journey towards Pico de la Teja. Along the way, you will encounter several points of interest. At the beginning of the hike, you will pass by a peaceful spring, located just 0.21 kilometers from the starting point. As you continue on, you will reach Collada de Henar, a scenic saddle situated 2.55 kilometers from the start.
Midway through the hike, you will be treated to the breathtaking views from Peñas Blancas. This peak, located 3.21 kilometers from the trailhead, offers a perfect spot to rest and take in the surrounding natural beauty.
As you make your way towards Pico de la Teja, you will pass by another spring at the 4.19-kilometer mark. Finally, at the end of the trail, you will reach the majestic Pico de la Teja, standing tall at 5.15 kilometers from the start.
