Welcome to the hiking route of Sentiero Mezza Costa!
Located in a beautiful area, this hike offers stunning views and a moderate level of difficulty. With a total distance of 2.568 kilometers and an elevation gain of 83.0 meters, it is perfect for hikers of all levels.
As you start your journey, you will come across the Camping Etna site, located just 0.16 kilometers from the trail. This is a great spot to take a rest and enjoy the surroundings. Continuing on, at around 1.22 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Monti Rossi peak, offering panoramic views of the area.
On your way back, be sure to visit the Grotta delle Palombe cave entrance, located 0.25 kilometers from the trail. Although not directly on the trail, it is worth the visit for those interested in exploring caves.
Throughout the hike, you will also encounter various viewpoints, with the closest one being 1.12 kilometers from the start and offering breathtaking sights of the landscape.
