This hiking route takes you to the beautiful Monte Seleron area, offering stunning views and a challenging terrain. The route is an out-and-back trail with a total distance of 12.388 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1331 meters, making it extremely difficult.
As you start your journey, you will come across the "Parcheggio Biorca di Tartano" parking area, situated right at the trailhead. Make sure to park your vehicle here before beginning your hike. Along the way, you will pass by the "alpine hut" named "Ià de Gàvet" at 0.05 kilometers from the start, providing a cozy resting spot for hikers.
Continuing on, at 0.15 kilometers into the hike, you will reach another alpine hut. This hut offers a picturesque setting and a great place to take in the surrounding nature. As you trek further, you will encounter a drinking water source at 0.19 kilometers from the start, where you can replenish your water supply.
One of the highlights of the hike is reaching the "Monte Seleron" peak at 6.19 kilometers from the start. The panoramic views from this point are truly breathtaking and worth the effort. Additionally, at 5.89 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the "bocchetta di Cògola" saddle, offering a serene spot to rest and take in the views.
