This hiking route takes you from the Laghetti di Ponteranica to Monte Ponteranica Occidentale in a beautiful area with stunning views. The trek is 4.594 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 354 meters, making it a moderate difficulty hike.
As you start your journey, you will come across a water point just 0.22 kilometers into the hike. This is followed by the Rifugio Albergo Monte Avaro alpine hut, located right on the trail. Just a short distance away, at 0.17 kilometers from the start, you will find another water point to refill your bottle.
Midway through the hike, at 1.33 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the Baitel wilderness hut, offering a resting spot with beautiful surroundings. As you continue, at 2.29 kilometers from the start, you will reach a peak where you can enjoy panoramic views of the area.
Throughout the trail, there are various amenities such as the Al Ciar cafe at 0.06 kilometers, information points, benches, a wayside cross, and viewpoints to enhance your experience.
