This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Strada statale 470 della Val Brembana. With a total distance of 14.429 kilometers and an elevation gain of 923 meters, this trail is classified as extremely difficult, so be prepared for a challenging adventure.
As you start your hike, you will come across a water feature located 7.21 kilometers from the trailhead. Make sure to fill up your water bottles here before continuing on. Further along the trail at 6.87 kilometers, you will find another water source, although it is slightly off the trail.
Around the midway point of the hike, at 3.03 kilometers, you will reach Bivacco Alberto Zamboni, a wilderness hut where you can take a break and rest. Just a bit ahead, at 2.77 kilometers, you'll find Rifugio Marco Balicco all'Azzaredo, an alpine hut providing accommodation for hikers.
At the beginning of the trail, there is a fountain located right at the trailhead, perfect for topping up your water supply. Additionally, there are parking facilities available at various points along the trail, making it convenient for visitors to access the starting point.
Throughout the hike, you will also come across several points of interest such as Pizzo delle Segade and Picco della Porta peaks, as well as historic ruins and informational points. Make sure to check them out as you make your way through the route.
