This hiking route takes you through the beautiful mountainous area towards the majestic Corno del Doge peak. The trail covers a distance of 15.183 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1608.0 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike that will challenge even experienced hikers.
As you start your journey, you will come across a wayside shrine about 0.61 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Further along the path, at around 3.21 kilometers, you will reach Rifugio San Marco, an alpine hut where you can take a rest and enjoy the stunning mountain views.
At approximately 3.23 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter an information point and a wayside shrine nearby. These points of interest provide valuable insights into the area's history and geography. Around 3.52 kilometers, you will find a drinking water source, which is essential to stay hydrated during the challenging hike.
As you continue on, you will reach Forcella Grande, a saddle point located 4.66 kilometers from the start, offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Nearby, at 4.78 kilometers, there is another information point to enhance your understanding of the region.
