The Route du Raché is an extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route spanning 14.464 kilometers with an elevation gain of 354 meters. Nestled in a picturesque area, this challenging hike offers breathtaking views and a variety of points of interest along the way.
As you start your journey, you will pass by the Grotte de L'Espalungue, a cave entrance located 2.82 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Further along, at 3.13 kilometers, you will encounter the Cascade supérieure de l'Espalungue, a stunning waterfall adding to the natural beauty of the surroundings.
Throughout the hike, you will come across several water sources, with some being closer to the trail than others. It is advisable to carry an adequate supply of water and snacks to stay hydrated and energized during the trek.
