This challenging hiking route will take you to the stunning Soum de Segú in the picturesque area. The trail is an out-and-back type with a total distance of 9.783 kilometers and an elevation gain of 426 meters, making it a difficult hike that requires some level of fitness.

Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find parking areas for your convenience. Further along, you will come across the Col d'Urdach, a beautiful saddle located 3.25 kilometers from the start. This is a great spot to take in the surrounding views and catch your breath.

As you continue on, you will reach the Ancienne Cabane d'Hourataté, an old shelter located 1.31 kilometers from the start, providing a nice resting spot. Midway through the hike, you will encounter the peak of Soum de Segú at 4.89 kilometers from the start, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the area.

Along the trail, you will also find a fountain, benches, and a memorial to explore. Just be sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this journey.
