This hike takes you to the beautiful area of Kaunzalm in Fügenberg. The route is an out-and-back type, covering a distance of 11.56 kilometers with an elevation gain of 999 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding journey.

As you start your hike, you'll come across a parking area at the beginning of the trail. Around the midway point, you'll find a water source to refill your bottles. Further along the trail, at 1.19 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the Sonnberg restaurant where you can stop for a meal or a quick break.

Near the end of the hike, at 5.78 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter a couple of benches for resting and enjoying the views. Additionally, there are information points along the trail providing insights about the area.

For sustenance options, you'll find the WSV Hütte at 4.79 kilometers and the Kohleralm restaurant at 3.07 kilometers from the start. The Wespennest bar is also located at 1.85 kilometers from the beginning of the trail.
