This moderate 5.223-kilometer circular hiking route will take you to the stunning Sarrat de la Pelade area. The trail starts at a parking area located right at the beginning of the route. Make sure to bring plenty of water and check the weather forecast before heading out.
As you make your way along the trail, you'll come across several points of interest. About 0.1 kilometers from the start, you'll find the Cabane Col Mazel - barguillere wilderness hut, a great spot to take a break and enjoy the surroundings. Further along, at 1.38 kilometers from the beginning, you'll reach the Cabane de la Devèze wilderness hut. This non-guarded hut offers a unique resting place for hikers.
At around 1.74 kilometers into the hike, you'll pass by La Devèze, an information point where you can learn more about the area. As you continue onward, you'll encounter the Fontaine de la Tasse spring at 1.94 kilometers from the start, providing a refreshing stop to refill your water bottle.
Midway through the hike, at 2.49 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the Sarrat de la Pelade peak, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Finally, at 0.05 kilometers from the end of the trail, you'll come across the Col de Mazel saddle, marking the last point of interest before completing the loop.
