This challenging out-and-back hiking route leads you to the stunning Pic de Peyroutet in the picturesque area. The trail spans a total distance of 11.595 kilometers with an elevation gain of 792 meters, making it a difficult yet rewarding trek.
As you begin your journey, you will come across the picturesque Port de Lers, a beautiful saddle nestled in the natural landscape. This spot serves as a perfect starting point for your adventure. Just 2 kilometers away from the trail, you will find convenient parking at Port de Lers, ensuring easy access to the trailhead.
Continuing on, at around 4.23 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter the historic wayside cross, offering a glimpse into the area's rich heritage. As you trek further, you will reach two prominent peaks, namely Pic des Trois Seigneurs and Pic de Peyroutet, both standing majestically amidst the scenic surroundings.
At approximately 5.8 kilometers into the hike, you will arrive at the striking Pic de Peyroutet, your ultimate destination and a perfect spot to soak in breathtaking views.
