This challenging circular hiking route will take you through the stunning natural beauty of Roc de Querquéou. The trail spans a distance of approximately 10.1 kilometers and includes an elevation gain of 917 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek that will take around 4 hours and 37 minutes to complete.
As you start your journey, you'll come across a convenient parking area right at the beginning of the trail. From there, you'll make your way towards the Col de Lastris, a picturesque saddle located about 2.87 kilometers from the starting point. Along the way, you'll also encounter L'Étang d'Artats and Col de Lastris, where you can learn more about the area's natural and cultural heritage.
Further along the trail, at a distance of 2.71 kilometers from the start, you'll find a refreshing spring where you can rest and rehydrate before continuing your ascent towards the Roc de Querquéou, a prominent peak located approximately 4.69 kilometers from the starting point. Be sure to take in the breathtaking views from the summit before beginning your descent.
On your way back, you'll pass by the Orri du Bizou, a shelter located just 0.02 kilometers from the starting point, where you can take a break and refuel before completing the hike.
