Welcome to the hiking trail to Haneggkogel! This easy 4.963-kilometer route with an elevation gain of 141 meters will take you approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete. The trail starts at GH Ebenwirt, where you can find parking facilities.
As you begin your hike, you'll come across the Ebenwirt restaurant just 0.03 kilometers from the start, perfect for a quick bite before your adventure. Along the way, at 0.04 kilometers from the start, you'll find a historic wayside shrine to explore.
Midway through the trail, at 2.48 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the Haneggkogel peak, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding natural beauty. Don't forget to take a rest at the bench located nearby to soak in the scenery.
On the way back, make sure to visit the Hermann Fellner Kreuz wayside shrine, located 1.53 kilometers from the start, and learn about the historical significance of the area.
