This challenging hiking route takes you through the picturesque Schwaigerkamm area, offering stunning views and a variety of points of interest along the way. The trail spans approximately 5.9 kilometers with an elevation gain of 597 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike.
Starting at the Bärenschützklamm parking area, you'll embark on a journey that includes several notable stops. At the beginning of the trail, you'll find the "Gasthaus zur Bärenschützklamm" restaurant and the "Jausenstation Grassauer" fast food spot, perfect for refueling before your adventure.
As you make your way through the hike, be sure to stop by the "Bärenloch" cave entrance and the "Wayside Cross" viewpoint, offering unique natural and historic experiences. You'll also encounter the "Stoanareithkogel" peak and the "Weisse Wand" climbing spot, adding an element of adventure to your hike.
Halfway through the trail, you'll come across a refreshing spring at a distance of 0.3 kilometers from the start, providing a much-needed hydration spot. Additionally, benches and information points are scattered throughout the route, offering rest stops and educational insights into the surrounding area.
Towards the end of the hike, at a distance of 2.74 kilometers from the start, you'll find the "Schwaigerhöhle" cave entrance and the "Waterfall" viewpoint, concluding your journey with natural wonders.
