This hiking route will take you through the picturesque area near Tanzenbergtunnel. The total distance of the hike is 6.225 kilometers with an elevation gain of 317 meters, making it a moderately challenging route.

As you start your hike, you will come across several points of interest along the trail. After approximately 0.2 kilometers, you will pass by the Waldrestaurant Vida, where you can take a break and enjoy some refreshments. Further along at around 2.03 kilometers into the hike, you will find the Prieselbauer restaurant, offering another opportunity to rest and refuel.

Around the midway point of the hike, at 3.11 kilometers, you will come across a natural water source at Mürz. This is a great spot to refill your water bottle and take in the surrounding scenery.

Throughout the hike, you will also encounter various parking areas for convenience. Additionally, there are informational points, benches, and historic wayside shrines along the trail, providing opportunities to learn more about the area's heritage.

It's important to note that the trail is an out-and-back type, so you will retrace your steps on the way back to the starting point. Therefore, be prepared for a total hiking duration of approximately 2 hours and 14 minutes.
