This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Harterberg. The trail is 6.593 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 524 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 2 hours and 50 minutes to complete.
As you start your journey, you will come across the wayside cross known as Kreuzweg, located 0.75 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This historic site adds a sense of cultural significance to your hike. Along the way, you will also find several benches, like the one at 0.25 kilometers into the trail, where you can take a rest and enjoy the surroundings.
One of the highlights of the hike is reaching the peak of Harterberg, which is 3.3 kilometers from the start of the trail. The panoramic views from this point make the challenging elevation gain worth it. Another interesting point to look out for is the peak of Kaiblberg, although it is 1.55 kilometers off the main trail.
