This hiking route takes you through the stunning area around Monte Sant'Erasmo. The trail is 12.283 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 857 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike that will take around 5 hours to complete.

Starting at the parking area, you will first come across the Villa della Rocca ruins, just 0.97 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. As you continue, you'll pass by the Ristorante & Pizzeria La Valle dei Mulini at the 0.6 kilometer mark, a perfect spot to grab a bite to eat. Further along the trail at 1.87 kilometers in, you'll encounter the historic Torre Massi ruins, followed by the Arcate antico acquedotto at 1.08 kilometers.

Halfway through your hike, at the 6.14 kilometer mark, you'll reach the peak of Monte Sant'Erasmo, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area. As you make your way back, be sure to stop by the Asso di coppe fountain at 0.51 kilometers and La Locanda della Pasta restaurant at 0.6 kilometers for some refreshments.

Throughout the hike, you'll also pass by various points of interest such as the Monumento ai Caduti, the Presepe di Gragnano attraction, and the Monumento ad Aldo Moro artwork. Be sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging but rewarding adventure.
