This extremely difficult circular hiking route spans a distance of 32.226 kilometers and boasts an elevation gain of 1720 meters. The total duration of the hike is estimated to be around 11 hours and 45 minutes.

The trail starts at a parking area located at the base of the route. As you begin your journey, make sure to explore the surrounding natural beauty before embarking on the challenging hike ahead.

Approximately 4.61 kilometers into the hike, you will come across a parking area that signifies you are making progress on the trail. This is a good spot to take a breather and appreciate the views.

Around 5.67 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter another parking area, indicating that you have covered a considerable distance. From here, the trail continues towards the Cabane pastorale du Col de Sasc, a wilderness hut and shelter located 10.8 kilometers from the start. This is a great place to rest and refuel before continuing your adventure.

Midway through the hike, at around 15.23 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Cap de la Serre de Font Cendrasse peak. This picturesque viewpoint offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes, making it a perfect spot to take in the beauty of the area.

As you progress further along the trail, you will encounter various points of interest, including a historic building called Ancien rendez-vous de chasse des Comtes de Foix, a memorial known as Monument aux morts, and a shelter named Cabane du Besset du Haut - Ax les Thermes.

Towards the end of the hike, at approximately 15.56 kilometers from the start, you will reach another peak called Cap de la Serre de Font Cendrasse, offering more breathtaking views of the terrain.
