Welcome to the hiking route at Eagle Close in the Garden Route District Municipality. This trail is a super easy out-and-back route with a total distance of 1.867 kilometers and no elevation gain.

As you start your journey, you will come across the WWI & WWII Memorial, located approximately 0.93 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Further along, at about 0.2 kilometers into the hike, you will find The Marshmellow Garden Café where you can take a break and enjoy some refreshments.

Throughout the trail, you will encounter several water features, including multiple water bodies at varying distances from the trail. Remember to bring enough water for your hike, as it is important to stay hydrated, especially on warmer days.

The trail is relatively short and easy, making it suitable for hikers of all levels. Be sure to check the weather forecast before heading out and wear appropriate footwear for a comfortable hike.
