This extremely difficult hiking route will take you to the stunning Ergischhorn peak, offering breathtaking views along the way. With a total distance of 15.124 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1450 meters, this hike is not for the faint of heart.

Starting at the parking area at the trailhead, you will embark on your journey through the picturesque surroundings. About 1 kilometer into the hike, you will come across a picnic site named Sportplatz, perfect for a quick break to refuel and enjoy the scenery.

As you continue on, you will pass by the information point at Ergisch, where you can learn more about the area and its history. Make sure to stay hydrated, as the next drinking water source is located 3.21 kilometers from the start.

Midway through the hike, at 7.56 kilometers from the beginning, you will reach the highlight of the route - the Ergischhorn peak. Take your time to soak in the panoramic views before starting your journey back.
