Hiking : Lac du Liaël

This hiking route takes you through the stunning landscape of the Lac du Liaël area. The trail is a challenging one, with a total distance of 9.728 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1036 meters, so be prepared for a strenuous trek.

As you begin your hike, you'll come across various points of interest along the way. At the very start, you'll find a parking area for your convenience. Not far from there, you'll also spot a picnic site, perfect for a quick break before you continue on your journey.

As you make your way along the trail, you'll encounter the Refuge Lo Tsamou, an alpine hut located 1.6 kilometers from the starting point. This is a great spot to rest and refuel before tackling the remaining distance.

About midway through the hike, you'll reach the beautiful Lac du Liaël, located 4.86 kilometers from the start. Take some time to enjoy the serene surroundings of the lake and maybe even stop for a snack while soaking in the views.

Throughout the hike, you'll also come across informative signposts and benches where you can take a breather and learn more about the area. Keep an eye out for viewpoints that offer spectacular vistas of the surrounding landscape.

As this is an out-and-back route, you'll retrace your steps on the way back, giving you a chance to appreciate the scenery from a different perspective.
