This extremely difficult 16.022 km circular hiking route will take you through the stunning alpine landscape near Rifugio Luigi Vaccarone. The trail includes an elevation gain of 1362.0 meters and is estimated to take around 7 hours to complete.
As you start your journey, you'll come across Capanna Sibille and Bivacco Walter Blais shelters at the 8.0 km mark, providing a perfect resting spot with their facilities. Make sure to check them out if you're in need of a break.
Along the way, you'll also encounter a water source around the 7.25 km mark, so be sure to refill your water bottles. Additionally, there is a drinking water point at the 2.13 km mark, ensuring you stay hydrated throughout your trek.
As you approach the midpoint of the hike, you'll reach the majestic Pointe de l'Agnel / Punta dell'Agnello peak at the 5.66 km mark, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area. Make sure to take a moment to appreciate the beauty of nature before continuing on your journey.
Towards the end of the hike, you'll reach the Col d'Ambin / Colle d'Ambin saddle at the 3.68 km mark, providing a scenic spot to rest and take in the views. Finally, at the 5.33 km mark, you'll reach the Col de l'Agnel supérieur / Colle dell'Agnello superiore saddle, marking the last stretch of your adventure.
