This hiking route will take you through the stunning landscape of D 1006 - D 1006. The trail is 14.877 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 716 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike that will challenge even experienced hikers.
As you start your journey, you will come across the Station basse téléphérique du Giaset, a historic site located 1.13 kilometers from the start of the trail. Continuing on, you will pass by the Lac de Roterel at 2.97 kilometers, offering a beautiful spot to rest and take in the views.
Further along the trail, at 3.26 kilometers, you will find a water source for refilling your supplies. It's always a good idea to bring plenty of water on this challenging hike, as well as checking the weather forecast before heading out.
Throughout the hike, you will encounter several points of interest such as memorials, milestones, and information points providing insight into the history and natural beauty of the area. Be sure to take your time to appreciate these landmarks as you make your way to the peak located at 3.4 kilometers.
At the halfway point, you will come across a waterfall at 0.75 kilometers, offering a refreshing break before continuing on. As you reach the Pas du Paradis at 7.44 kilometers, you will be rewarded with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
