This extremely difficult hiking route will take you through the stunning Rothorn area, offering breathtaking views and challenging terrain. The total distance of the hike is approximately 9.7 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1315 meters, so be prepared for a strenuous journey.

As you start your hike, you will come across a shelter just 0.53 kilometers from the beginning, offering a brief rest stop. Further along the trail, at 3.63 kilometers, you will reach the Jöchelspitze peak, a popular spot for hikers to take in the picturesque surroundings.

Along the way, you will encounter various points of interest such as the Rothornjoch saddle at 4.13 kilometers and the Rothorn peak at 4.84 kilometers. These spots offer incredible panoramic views, making the challenging hike worth every step.
