This challenging hiking route will take you through the beautiful area of Table des Trois Rois. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 11.47 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1171 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 5 hours and 34 minutes to complete.
As you start your journey at Aire de Stationnement de Lamary, you will pass by several points of interest along the way. About 0.48 kilometers from the start, you will come across Cabane de Lamary, a wilderness hut where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings. Further on, at 1.61 kilometers from the start, you will find Abri du Pla d'Escoueste, a shelter that can provide some respite during your hike.
As you continue on the trail, you will reach Esqueste, a saddle point located 4.3 kilometers from the start, offering stunning views of the area. Further along, at 5.74 kilometers from the start, you will arrive at Table des Trois Rois, a peak where you can enjoy panoramic views of the surroundings.
Hiru Erregeen Mahaia / Mesa de los Tres Reyes, another peak, is located 5.39 kilometers from the start but is slightly off the trail. It is worth the extra effort to reach this point for more breathtaking views. Additionally, at the 5.28-kilometer mark, you will find the entrance to E 2000 cave, a natural wonder worth exploring.
