This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Bearn, offering a challenging and rewarding experience. With a total distance of 11.623 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1146 meters, this route is classified as difficult and is estimated to take around 5 hours and 33 minutes to complete.
As you set off on the trail, you will come across the "Cabane de Pédain" wilderness hut around 2.7 kilometers from the start. This cozy hut is a great spot to take a break and enjoy the surrounding nature. Further along the trail, at 2.78 kilometers, you will find a shelter for some rest and relaxation.
If you are in need of a place to park your vehicle, the "Aire de Stationnement de Lamary" parking area is conveniently located at the beginning of the trail, making it easy to access. As you continue onwards, the "Cabane de Lamary" wilderness hut at 0.48 kilometers offers another opportunity to rest and refuel.
Around 1.61 kilometers into the hike, you will come across the "Abri du Pla d'Escoueste" shelter, providing a sheltered spot to take a break. Midway through the route, at 4.3 kilometers, you will encounter the "Esqueste" saddle, offering picturesque views of the surrounding landscape.
Towards the end of the trail, at 5.81 kilometers, you will reach the "Budogia" peak, a rewarding endpoint with stunning panoramic views. Before heading back, you can explore the "Hiru Erregeen Mahaia / Mesa de los Tres Reyes" peak at 5.22 kilometers for more breathtaking scenery.
