This challenging 11.105-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will lead you to the stunning peak of Hiru Erregeen Mahaia, also known as Mesa de los Tres Reyes, in the Bearn area. With an elevation gain of 1182 meters, this hike is not for the faint of heart but promises breathtaking views and memorable experiences along the way.
Starting at Aire de Stationnement de Lamary, you'll pass by the Cabane de Lamary at the beginning of the trail, offering a picturesque spot for a quick break. As you make your way towards the peak, you'll encounter the Abri du Pla d'Escoueste, a shelter where you can seek refuge if needed.
Midway through the hike, you'll reach Esqueste, a scenic saddle that serves as a perfect vantage point to admire the surrounding landscapes. Further ahead, you'll come across an information point providing interesting insights into the area's history and geology.
