This hiking route will take you through the beautiful Costa Stellata area, offering stunning views and challenging terrain. The total distance of the trail is 18.238 kilometers with an elevation gain of 766 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike that will take approximately 6 hours and 8 minutes to complete.

As you start your journey, you will pass by the Rifugio del Lupo restaurant, located just 0.13 kilometers from the trailhead. This is a great spot to grab a meal or snack before embarking on the trail. Along the way, you will also come across the Costone della Cerasa peak at 5.88 kilometers from the start, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

Midway through the hike, at 7.51 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Vado di Castellaneta saddle, a perfect place to take a break and enjoy the scenery. As you continue on, you will encounter several peaks such as the Cima della Cerasa at 5.44 kilometers and the Capo di Pezza at 7.76 kilometers from the start, each offering unique vantage points.

Finally, as you near the end of the trail, you will arrive at the Costa Stellata peak, located 8.8 kilometers from the start. This is the highest point of the hike, providing a rewarding sense of accomplishment and breathtaking views of the surrounding area.
