This extremely difficult hiking route takes you on a 12.962-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 1297 meters. The trail is an out-and-back route that will challenge even experienced hikers.

Starting at the parking area, you will pass by the Parco Naturale Regionale Sirente Velino at the very beginning of the hike. This beautiful natural park is the perfect introduction to the stunning scenery you will encounter along the way.

As you continue on the trail, you will come across Fonte di Sevice, a refreshing spring located 4.03 kilometers from the start. This is a great spot to refill your water bottles and take a quick break before pushing forward.

Further along the route, at a distance of 4.74 kilometers from the start, you will reach a saddle point that offers panoramic views of the surrounding area. This is a great place to stop and admire the breathtaking landscapes.

At the midway point of the hike, approximately 5.58 kilometers from the start, you will find Monte di Sevice, a majestic peak that towers above the trail. While it's not directly on the trail, the views from this vantage point are definitely worth the short detour.

Near the end of the route, at a distance of 6.48 kilometers from the start, you will reach Costognillo, another peak that offers stunning views of the mountains and valleys below. This is a great spot to take in the beauty of the surrounding landscape before heading back.

Throughout the hike, make sure to bring plenty of water, as the trail is long and challenging. It's also important to check the weather forecast before setting out, as conditions can change quickly in the mountains.
