This extremely difficult 16.029 km circular hiking route will take you to the breathtaking area around Monte Cafornia. The trail starts at the parking area and follows a challenging path with an elevation gain of 1663.0 meters.
Along the way, you will encounter several points of interest. About 2.91 km from the start, you will find Fonte Canale, a natural spring where you can replenish your water supply. Further along the trail, at 1.17 km from the start, there is a drinking water spot to refill your bottle.
As you continue your journey, at the 6.07 km mark, you will pass by the Grotta dei Pastori, a cave entrance worth exploring. At the same distance from the start, you will also find Fontana pubblica, another spring to rest and refresh yourself.
The highlight of the hike is the summit of Monte Cafornia, located at 7.65 km from the start. The peak offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area.
