This hiking route to Murolungo offers a challenging adventure through a beautiful natural area. The trail is an out-and-back type, totaling 11.752 kilometers in distance with an elevation gain of 1214 meters, making it extremely difficult and suitable for experienced hikers.
As you start your journey, you will come across various points of interest along the trail. At the beginning, just 0.03 kilometers from the start, you will find a BBQ spot for a nice picnic. Further along at 0.06 kilometers, there is a drinking water station for you to refill your bottles. Keep an eye out for the wilderness hut, Bivacco Gigi Panei, located 2.96 kilometers from the start, offering a possible rest stop.
Midway through the hike, around 5.88 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak known as Murolungo, where you can enjoy stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. If you need information, there is an information point located 0.39 kilometers from the start.
