This hiking route will take you through the beautiful area surrounding Veliki vrh. The trail is 7.722 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 469 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 2 hours and 57 minutes to complete.

As you start your journey, you will come across a refreshing water source at the beginning of the trail. Make sure to fill up your water bottles here before continuing on. Further along the trail, about 1.4 kilometers in, you will reach Močilo na Kalu, another opportunity to rest and enjoy the surroundings.

As you continue on, at around 3.86 kilometers into the hike, you will reach a viewpoint where you can take in stunning panoramic views of the area. This is a great spot to take a break and snap some photos.

Towards the end of the trail, still at 3.86 kilometers, you will find yourself at the peak of Veliki vrh, offering breathtaking views as a reward for your challenging hike. Additionally, nearby is another peak called Špile, only 2.92 kilometers from the start point.

Be mindful of your surroundings as you hike, and if you're feeling adventurous, you may come across Brezno v Špilah, a cave entrance about 2.37 kilometers into the trail.
