This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with a total distance of 11.621 kilometers and an elevation gain of 458 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 3 hours and 50 minutes to complete.
Starting at the parking area (0.0 km from the start), make your way along the trail and you will come across a water feature at 1.19 km from the start. This is a great spot to rest and refill your water bottle.
Continuing on, at around 1.36 km from the start, you will pass by the Knock hut circle, an archaeological site that adds a historical touch to your hike.
As you make your way towards the peak, you will find the Alt a Chnoic archaeological site at 1.26 km from the start. Take a moment to appreciate the ancient history of this area before continuing on.
At 4.79 km from the start, you will reach the peak of Càrn Eachie, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
Finally, the highlight of the hike is reaching the Càrn a' Ghille Cheàrr peak at 5.81 km from the start. This peak offers stunning views and a sense of accomplishment for reaching the summit.
