Welcome to the hiking route to Càrn Eachie! This challenging out-and-back trail covers a distance of 9.616 kilometers with an elevation gain of 458 meters, taking approximately 3 hours and 22 minutes to complete.

The trail starts at a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on this adventure. Make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks for the journey, as well as check the weather forecast before setting out.

As you begin your trek, you will pass by a lovely water feature just 1.19 kilometers from the start, offering a peaceful spot to relax and take in the surroundings. Further along the trail at 1.36 kilometers, you will come across the Knock hut circle, an archaeological site that provides a glimpse into the area's rich history.

Midway through the hike at 4.81 kilometers, you will reach the peak of Càrn Eachie, a stunning natural landmark that offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Take your time to appreciate the beauty of the area before beginning your journey back.

Along the way back, you may also encounter the Alt a Chnoic archaeological site at 1.26 kilometers from the end of the trail, adding another layer of historical interest to your hike.
