This extremely difficult hiking route leads you to the stunning Cuel Mauron area. The trail spans a distance of 14.482 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1160 meters, taking approximately 6 hours and 15 minutes to complete.
As you embark on this challenging journey, you'll encounter various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the route, you'll come across the archaeological site, providing a glimpse into the area's rich history. Continuing onwards, at approximately 1.28 kilometers from the start, you'll reach a tranquil water source perfect for a refreshing break.
Midway through the hike, you'll find the picturesque Piazzetta Elisabetta Barei parking area, offering a convenient spot to leave your vehicle before hitting the trail. As you approach the 7.24-kilometer mark, you'll be rewarded with breathtaking views from the peak of Cuel Mauron.
While Monte Palavierte and Monte Riquini are located slightly off the trail at 6.9 and 4.12 kilometers from the start, respectively, the Sella di Dagna saddle awaits explorers at a distance of 2.87 kilometers away.
