This hiking route takes you through the beautiful alpine landscape to Rifugio Grauzaria. The total distance of the route is 5.063 kilometers with an elevation gain of 488 meters, taking approximately 2 hours and 23 minutes to complete. The difficulty level is considered moderate due to the length and elevation gain.
Starting from the trailhead, you will pass by a parking area, which is conveniently located at the beginning of the trail. After hiking for about 0.6 kilometers, you will come across a natural spring where you can refill your water bottles. Continuing on, at the 2.17 kilometer mark, you will encounter a historic memorial.
Midway through the hike, at approximately 2.53 kilometers, you will reach Rifugio Grauzaria, an alpine hut where you can take a rest and enjoy the stunning surroundings. The hut is located 11.042 meters from the trail.
It is recommended to bring an ample supply of water, as there is only one drinking water source along the trail. Additionally, check the weather forecast before embarking on the hike to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
