The Monte Amariana hike is an extremely difficult 13.054-kilometer out-and-back route with an elevation gain of 1335 meters. The trail will lead you through a beautiful area with stunning views and challenging terrain.
Starting at Piazzetta Elisabetta Barei, make your way towards Monte Amariana. Along the way, you will pass by a parking area at the beginning of the trail. As you continue your journey, you will come across Bivacco Romano Cimenti - Cirillo Floreanini, a wilderness hut and shelter where you can rest and take in the surroundings.
About 6.53 kilometers into the hike, you will reach Monte Amariana, a peak offering panoramic views of the surrounding area. Take your time to enjoy the scenery before heading back.
On the way back, you can stop at Sella Pradut, a saddle located 4.29 kilometers from the start, and a spring for a refreshing break 3.05 kilometers into the hike.
