This extremely difficult hiking route will take you to Monte Amariana, a beautiful peak in the area. The trail is an out-and-back route with a total distance of 13.054 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1335 meters. The estimated duration for this hike is 6 hours and 21 minutes.
As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area at the beginning of the trail. Make sure to park your vehicle here before starting your hike. Further along the trail, at around 3.18 kilometers from the start, you will find the Bivacco Romano Cimenti - Cirillo Floreanini wilderness hut. This is a great spot to take a break and rest during your trek.
About midway through the trail, at approximately 4.29 kilometers from the start, you will reach Sella Pradut, a scenic saddle along the route. This is a perfect place to enjoy the panoramic views of the surrounding area. Additionally, at 3.05 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a refreshing spring called Spring Pradut. Be sure to refill your water bottles here.
Towards the end of the trail, at 6.53 kilometers from the start, you will arrive at Monte Amariana, the main highlight of the hike. From this peak, you can admire the breathtaking views of the surrounding natural landscape.
It's important to note that there is a via ferrata located off the main trail at a distance of 6.53 kilometers from the start. Only experienced climbers should attempt this route.
