Hiking : Monte Amarianute

This challenging hike will take you to the stunning Monte Amarianute area. The trail covers a distance of approximately 5.1 kilometers with an elevation gain of 690 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek. Make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks, and check the weather forecast before setting out.

As you begin your journey, you will pass by a picturesque water source just 0.05 kilometers from the starting point. About halfway through the hike, at 2.53 kilometers in, you will reach the breathtaking peak of Monte Amarianute, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Continuing on, at 2.05 kilometers from the start, you will come across the Forcella della Citate saddle, providing a unique vantage point along the trail.

For a well-deserved rest, a bench can be found 1.54 kilometers from the beginning, offering a peaceful spot to take in the natural beauty of the area. As you near the end of the hike, you will encounter a viewpoint just 0.03 kilometers away, allowing you to soak in the stunning scenery one last time.

This out-and-back route will lead you back to your starting point, where a parking area is conveniently located for your convenience. Be prepared for a challenging but memorable adventure in the Monte Amarianute area.
