This hiking trail takes you through the scenic area of Route Forestière du Creux du Loup. The route is an out-and-back trail with a total distance of 3.154 kilometers and an elevation gain of 324 meters, making it a moderate difficulty hike.

As you start your journey, you'll come across the Pré Vernet parking area, located right at the beginning of the trail. From there, you'll encounter several viewpoints along the way. The Belvédère du Col du Pré Vernet offers stunning panoramic views but is located just 0.01 kilometers off the trail, so it's worth a slight detour.

Further along the trail, you'll find informative signposts such as Col du Pré Vernet, Col des Sauts, and Col des Sauts (Panoramic). These points provide interesting insights into the surrounding area and are perfect spots to take a break and enjoy the scenery.

Throughout the hike, you'll also come across benches like the ones at 1.09 kilometers and 1.08 kilometers from the start, where you can rest and take in the peaceful surroundings. Keep an eye out for the Rocher des Aires, a natural rock formation located 1.06 kilometers from the start, although slightly off the main trail.
