This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Col des Frêtes. The 5.966-kilometer trail offers stunning views and a challenging terrain, with an elevation gain of 672 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike.

At the beginning of the trail, you will pass by the Décollage parapente FFVL de Planfait, a popular spot for free flying enthusiasts. As you continue onwards, you will reach the Décollage du Col des Frêtes, another takeoff point for paragliders, located approximately 2.97 kilometers from the start of the trail.

Midway through your hike, you will encounter the Col des Frêtes viewpoint, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. Keep an eye out for Pointe Sud, a natural peak located 2.71 kilometers from the trail, which offers even more stunning vistas.

Before you reach the end of the trail, you will pass by informational points such as Planfait (Parking), where you can learn more about the area's history and geography. Remember to bring plenty of water and snacks, as well as checking the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging hike.
