This hiking route will take you to the beautiful area near Bockhartseehütte. The trail is 2.638 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 229 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels. The estimated duration of the hike is around 1 hour and 10 minutes.
As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area at the beginning of the trail. Make sure to park your vehicle securely before starting the hike. Further along the trail, you will reach the Lower Bockhartsee, a natural water feature that offers a serene spot to rest and enjoy the surroundings. Here, you can take in the beauty of the area and maybe even spot the artwork called "Drache vom Bockhartsee" nearby.
After exploring the Lower Bockhartsee, the trail will lead you to Bockhartseehütte, an alpine hut where you can relax, refuel, and take in the stunning mountain views. This marks the end of the out-and-back route, and you can spend some time at the hut before heading back the way you came.
