This challenging circular hike on the Camino de Ándara al Collado San Carlos - Cillorigo de Liébana offers stunning views and a variety of points of interest along the way.
Starting at Jitu de Escarandi, you will pass by the Torca de la Mazarrasa cave entrance, which is located about 3.09 kilometers from the start of the trail. Further along, at a distance of 3.14 kilometers from the start, you will come across the Refugio Casetón de Ándara alpine hut, where you can take a break and enjoy some rest.
As you continue your hike, you will encounter several informative spots along the trail, such as the Collado de la Aldea saddle and the Collada de Trasmacondíu saddle. These spots provide valuable information about the surrounding natural features.
