This hiking route in the Halleranger area is extremely difficult, with a total distance of 13.696 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1072 meters. The estimated duration for this hike is 5 hours and 51 minutes.
The trail starts at a parking area, which is conveniently located at the beginning of the route. Along the way, you will come across several points of interest. At around 1.07 kilometers from the start, you will find an information point which can provide you with insights about the area. As you continue on, at 1.8 kilometers, there is a drinking water point for you to refill your bottles.
Further along the trail, at 4.21 kilometers, there is another information point, and at 4.68 kilometers, you will reach Lafatscherjoch. This is followed by Lafatscher Joch at 4.75 kilometers, offering stunning views of the surroundings.
About 6.83 kilometers from the start, you will reach Hallerangerhaus, an alpine hut where you can rest and enjoy a meal. This is a good spot to take a break before you continue your journey. There is also a wayside cross at 5.54 kilometers and a bench at 6.55 kilometers for you to relax.
As you approach the end of the trail, there is another bench at 6.81 kilometers, providing a nice resting spot before you head back. Finally, at the end of the route, you will return to the parking area where you started.
