Starting from the trailhead, you will pass by "Le Randé" parking area at the beginning of the route. As you continue onwards, the trail will lead you to "Mariailles" parking area, located 1.6 kilometers from the start. This spot offers a scenic rest area to enjoy the surrounding nature.

Further along the hike, at 1.67 kilometers from the start, you will come across the "Maison forestière de Mariailles," a wilderness hut where you can take a break and immerse yourself in the tranquil environment. Continuing on, at 1.71 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter the "Roc de Mariailles," a peak that offers breathtaking panoramic views of the area.

Near the end of the route, at 1.73 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the "Refuge de Mariailles," an alpine hut where you can rest and refuel before heading back. This marks the turnaround point of the out-and-back trail, offering a total hiking distance of 3.5 kilometers.
