This difficult 11.386-kilometer circular hiking route will take you through the stunning area surrounding Costabona. With an elevation gain of 785 meters, this hike is perfect for experienced hikers looking for a challenge.
Starting from the parking area located at the trailhead, you will begin your journey by passing by the information point R107 Gual de Can Beia, which provides insights into the local area. As you make your way along the trail, you will reach the Refugi forestal Jaume Ferrer at approximately 2.2 kilometers from the start, offering a great spot to rest and take in the surroundings.
Continuing on, you will come across the Collada de la Balmeta and the Borne Frontière 513, both of which showcase the natural and historic aspects of the region. As you approach the midway point of the hike, you will reach the Coll de Pal, a saddle point that provides panoramic views of the area.
